I’m so excited for this interview! Today, I have the CEO of Detox by Design Megan Mikkelsen, uncovering hidden toxins in our health products…YUCK!!!”
Health and the environment have been Megan’s top interests since she was a teen. She went on to get her Masters of Public Health and having her first daughter led her to environmental health. She wanted to create a healthy and happy home for her. Raising her daughters in an environment with minimal toxins - that’s the crux of her “why”. She knows deciphering the confusing marketplace of cleaners and everyday products isn’t always easy, but that is why she is here to help!
Her journey to a toxin-free home started with wanting to make the best choices for her family but also feeling overwhelmed and confused, and lacking the time to make detoxing our home a priority.

It’s true!
She has immersed herself in product knowledge and safe ingredients, so we don’t have to.
Today, there are toxins in the environment all around us. We do however have some control over what we choose to bring into our homes and put on our bodies. Hang out with us as she identifies and removes the nasty products from our home leaving us with safer options and the knowledge we need to make toxin-free choices each time we shop, while saving money.
