Plants seem to be having a moment. Social media accounts dedicated to them and their care, shops full of plants, even plant subscriptions. Let's take a look at why they are good to keep around- besides the whole providing oxygen thing. 

I started noticing this plant craze and honestly, I love it. On social media people talking about and two plants, people gifting plants, shops that offer you a drink while you shop for plants. Last year during the summer, I tried my hand at keeping a few plants alive- a mint, basil, a rehabbed lavender plant, a stubborn snake plant, 2 cacti, and 2 very dead succulents (why are they so hard)! My girlfriends and I frequently chat about plants and caring for them so I decided to share that with you all.
