Over the last century the purpose of relationships has changed drastically. We are no longer marrying to create a business relationship (ie. you go make money, I will raise our children, food, shelter security) or even in a friendship, most of us don’t want a surface level connection. Modern relationships go beyond biological/surface level needs and are jumping into the realm of emotional and spiritual connection and growth with one another.

The problem with this new dynamic, is most of us have not been taught how to do this, although our souls are longing for it. It requires the unlearning of what we have been conditioned to believe real love and true partnership are and to see the role and responsibility we must play in order to create the conscious relationships we desire.
