Ep160 - Donelle Valentine Interview, Bronx Students Lockout, CHH Battles - Healthy or Naw

 

 

Donelle Valentine came into the studio to discuss his album "The Remedy", in which he sings and raps.  We also got him to freestyle a few bars.  He opened up about his personal struggles and the reason he is involved in Christian music.  

 

We later discussed the positive and negative effects of Christian Rap Battles.  The Saga and Voice the Poet have a scheduled battle which is for entertainment.  Unfortunately, J Monty has threatened to make a diss record toward Tedashii because of alleged lyrical theft by the latter.  

 

Finally, a Bronx school staged a peaceful protest in which they locked out the administration for 3 days because of a racist video where the participants didn't receive any consequences.
