Chicago is the third-most populous city in United State in terms of gross domestic product, after New York City and Los Angeles. It is located in the central part of the North America, playing an important role in railway and air hub, as well as one of the major financial, futures and commodity trading centers in the United States. Since Chicago was found in 1837, the city has grown over the past 100 years to become one of the most influential metropolises in the world.
