In 2017 we visited Newcastle-upon-Tyne and the Newcastle Castle Keep.  One of the best-preserved Keeps in the country, it has a long reputation for being haunted.  Sitting on an old Roman Fort, it has had a long history of death, with executions and even seeing nearly 50% of the population of Newcastle die from the plague (black death).  But most curious of all was the most unique cause for a castle wall to collapse and of course the flying donkey!
