I took the plunge and went on my very first solo trip up north on my birthday!

As a woman, it is a scary thing to do just because there’s so many horror stories of women getting kidnap and females are a lot more prone to be as risk of being in danger. I say start small and local, that way you are kinda close to families and friends and you can easily give them your location just in case.

It doesn’t matter if you are single, in a relationship, married, young, or old, I highly recommend everyone to take time just for yourself to do some solo traveling. This is the best time to disconnect from your reality and away from your children and partner, but most importantly to rediscover yourself before you started a family and be in tuned with who you are.
