In this episode, Channa Channa Channa talks to Akash Sunethkumara, the Sri Lankan filmmaker, martial artist, and lecturer. Channa discovered Akash via YouTube. 

Akash is the Founder of the production company High School Junkies, he has been creating films with his team for the past 7 years and consists of friends he met while at school. 

The team was the first Sri Lankans to be invited to the largest entertainment convention in the world, San Diego Comic-Con to screen their films. Their most recent project, Temporal is due to be released publicly next month. 

In addition, he also runs Junkyard Theory, a filmmaking podcast where he has hosted esteemed personnel from the film industry ranging from Academy Award-Winners to people who have worked on some of the biggest movies like Jurassic Park and the Avengers.
