EP176 - Latest Research: LLM ช่วยทำให้เอกสาร onboarding project เข้าใจง่ายขึ้นได้
EP นี้หยิบบทความวิจัยล่าสุดจาก the 39th IEEE/ACM International Conference on Automated Software Engineering (ASE 2024) เรื่อง “Towards Leveraging LLMs for Reducing Open Source Onboarding Information Overload” มาเล่าให้ฟังกันครับ งานวิจัยศึกษาการนำ LLM สองตัว คือ ChatGPT กับ Gemini มาช่วยปรับเอกสาร onboarding ที่เอาไว้ให้มือใหม่ที่เข้ามาร่วมโครงการอ่านให้มีโครงสร้างที่ดีขึ้นและอ่านได้ง่ายขึ้น ผลการศึกษาวิจัยพบว่าการใช้ LLM ทั้งสองตัวทำให้เอกสาร onboarding อ่านง่ายขึ้นตามตัวชี้วัดหลายๆ ตัว โดยที่ Gemini จะทำได้ดีกว่า ChatGPT เล็กน้อย
