Here's who has left Spotify because of Joe Rogan
That is the headline we are seeing all over social media and MSM.
CNN business reporter Frank Pallotta, CNN Business claimed ; '
Spotify has had a rough couple of weeks. its stock took a big hit Wednesday because of a slowing growth forecast, and the company has seen creators from the music and podcasting world desert the platform because of comments by comedian and podcast host Joe Rogan.'
I find the idea of “stopping misinformation and disinformation” problematic for a number of reasons.
I believe we all have a right to discuss dangerous ideas.
It’s never about the context of the world events , it’s about the values that sit underneath it all.
Im not about it to invest my energy in anything where the effects of my actions could in anyway lead to the government deciding for us what is okay to think and say?
Do the government not have more things to concern themselves with,
Than what podcasts are on Spotify?
Who gets to determine.
What ideas deserve discussion?
What books can be read?
What our children can be taught?
What we MUST put in our bodies?
This isn't about the global crisis...this is about something far more long lasting.
How do we respond in the face of a choice between our fundamental right to be Free and our desire for Ease and Safety.
Because the truth is True Freedom ISN'T safe.
It isn't easy.
It doesn't guarantee a certain outcome.
It feels like chaos.
It means living life on your own terms, engaging with "dangerous" thoughts and ideas and taking ABSOLUTE responsibility for ones self and the outcomes one receives.
True Freedom means the right to discuss 'dangerous' ideas.
Choosing your reality , owning it and not invalidating the other choices and perspectives.

This is an intuitive conversation from the heart addressing some of the things I have wished to express over the last few days. Thankyou for choosing my energy
