Andrea Pippins is an illustrator and author who has a passion for creating images that reflect what she wants to see in art, media, and design. Her vision is to empower women and girls of color as well as people in under-served communities, with visual tools to own and tell their own stories.
In addition to being an author and illustrator of many books, her work has also been featured in Essence Magazine, The New York Times, and O: The Oprah Magazine. She has worked with brands such as Bloomberg, ESPN, Lincoln Center, and the National Museum of African American History and Culture.
