As a startup manager we have to learn leadership on the fly. That is why we want to bring bitesize leadership education to you as a startup leader.
The Format "Leadership Question of the Day" is a short answer to a leadership question we received and will be published every morning ready for you to start the day.
Read along:
How do you prioritize tasks as a leader? That's more a managing question, but let's turn this around or at least answering it as a leadership question. So prioritizing tasks is helping your team members prioritize tasks. Not you as a leader taking the prioritization. Yes, sometimes that's needed, but it's more about how do you engage the team members so that they can prioritize their tasks to achieve what is required from an organizational perspective. So you help the other people to find out how they prioritize, they're a gazillion tools out there, how you can do that for me, most important work with each other to find out what the priorities are.
Agree on them and then keep the people accountable on the task and the topics they want to achieve. Simple, isn't it? Leadership, question of the day.
