Brooke Bender a Community Health Representative in Arizona shares his journey of working as a CHR as they are called that work with the American Indian population. Brooke has been a CHR for 7 years and has worked in various roles, starting a Massage Therapist by trade this position naturally became a position in which he enjoys serving the residents on the reservation. He and his team serve American Indians in the state of Arizona by proving health education, workshops, resources and services to live a better quality of life. Serving about 1,500 residents on the reservation and being a major contributor to trainings for other Tribal organizations Brooke shares his journey in the field and some tips he has learned along the way.
