Today, I speak with a mother named Isra.

She shares of her experience of miscarriage, and how important it is to still

honour the postpartum period after loss.

We speak about how a new mother’s perspective changes in the way they view

other mothers and relate to the world around them.

This is a beautiful conversation as Isra reflects on how motherhood ‘changes the

flavour of life’, and the ways in which society has devalued the role of the mother

but instead how it needs to be elevated to the most important career we can

embark on.
