What happens when Jesus shows up—but not the way we expected? In Luke 19, Jesus finally arrives in Jerusalem. The crowds celebrate Him as king, shouting praise and welcoming Him with excitement. But Jesus knows something they don’t: many of these same voices will soon turn against Him.
In this episode, we explore the tension of this moment. Why did Jesus ride into the city on a donkey? Why does He weep over Jerusalem? And why does the Prince of Peace walk into the temple and start flipping tables?
Along the way, we talk honestly about how we often approach God with our own expectations—and what it looks like to recognize Jesus for who He truly is.
Wherever you’re at in life or faith, you’re welcome here. Let’s open God’s Word together and discover what He might be teaching us today.

Reflection Questions:
=============================
✅ What expectations do I have about how God should work in my life? Could those expectations keep me from recognizing what He’s actually doing?
✅ Where in my life might Jesus be inviting me into a deeper kind of peace—not just comfort?
✅ When Jesus cleared the temple, He was restoring what had been corrupted. Are there areas of my life where God may be asking to do that same restoring work?
✅ What helps me recognize God’s presence in everyday moments?
✅ If I truly believed Jesus is the King He claims to be, what would I surrender to Him this week?
