When people believe their basic qualities can be developed, failures may still hurt, but failures donβt define them. - Dr. Carol S. Dweck, PhD
π¨βπ π©βπ Iβve created 3 blogs since coming to Ecuador in 2017. Out of desperation to keep my sanity after falling for a life scam I created a Latin Jazz blog using Wordpress called 593 Latin Jazz. After all I've been an avid Latin jazz enthusiast for the past 35 years. I also created, soon after, Confia593 apartment rentals and postings blog for the neighborhood I lived in. Here in Ecuador you see hundreds of FOR RENT signs and I figured I can post those rentals for free n exchange for the rental fee as a commission. That helped me monetize a lil bit during my journey North of the country.
Since I was also teaching ESL English online I created, Ecua-Ingles, a expat English teacher blog and this kept me busy with the hopes of monetizing my experience as an online teacher and also to provide tips for those transitioning online. All this before I even had a clue that I was a network marketer with no direction in my life.
π¨βπ π©βπ Thank GOD I kept my day job as an ESL English teacher because fast forward to zombie pandemic 1.0 in 2020, I abandoned my 3 blogs feeling disappointed in myself. However, I've been a hard head all my life and felt I have to make this work as a Plan B for my uncertain future in Ecuador. While doing research on the net I came to realize I had a mindset problem. Hence, I didn't truly know what the hell I was doing or even WHY I was doing it.Β
I started to pay attention to the need of investing in myself to polish both my knowledge and skills sets to monetize my experience as a blogger, mentor, coach, even as an English teacher. Thanks to these multiple ventures, I was able to hit an ace in the hole by following and learning with a mentor the HOW TO MONETIZE my experience and find my WHY.
