In this episode, I talk John Heyesen, CEO of Arbor Wood Co., about his popular product line on thermally modified wood products. In a 3 stage process, all the sugars are cooked out of wood to make it resistant to pests and mold. Steam stabilizes the wood so it doesn't warp.
