Many people believe it’s Maja Ganszyniec, a graduate of the London college of art that’s won Poland a front row seat in the design world alongside the standard entries of Italy and Sweden.

A successful product designer for IKEA she sites her starting point for design as one of her successes: ‘There are so many objects in the world already. Why make another one?”
