EP20: Too Real For Church
When you hit rock bottom in your life and you thought that certain groups or people who have been involved your life will help you because of your years of service and dedication in helping them. In return you think they will offer their service and help back, no questions or hesitation. This is yet another disappointment in my life where although I've consider church as my family, they truly showed their true colors during and after my divorce.
Being a Hmong woman who doesn't know the culture well enough but was told this is how things are suppose to be when there is problems in your life or marriage, I listened, tried to reach out, and only did what I thought was the correct way of reaching to those people because that's all I knew. In the end, it made me question Christian people who claim to go to church but yet live a double life, who claim to have my back through the good and bad but when the bad things appears and you ask for help, they turn their head the other way, and me revisiting and rebuilding my relationship with God all over again.
I didn't mean to get emotional on this episode but I did at one point in my life was so in love with God and the desire and yearning to build that relationship with him. Can I ever rebuild that again? Find out more on this episode.
