Today, I have the pleasure of sitting down with a huge literal figurehead in my life. John was my high school coach for practically all four years in football and baseball. He coached at Antelope Union High in Wellton, Az and was their athletic director for decades. And being from the Bronx, he's seen it all. John is a larger than life character who now uses his golden years to mentor, advise, referee, and write for the Yuma Daily Sun newspaper.
