Warren Buffett tells a story often about a student he graduated college with.

This was a guy who was just as intelligent, just as well-off, and just as privileged as he was. That guy went on to have a completely normal life working in oil, and made a fine living for his family, but nothing special.

Warren Buffett went on to build Berkshire Hathaway. (and the multi-billion dollar personal net worth valuation he has today)

His observation? The boat you're in matters way more than how hard you row.
