Betty Bio:

Betty is a passionate writer who draws from the human experience. Her work can be described as thought-provoking and cutting edge. She is an award-winning playwright, having written and starred in her original play "She Is A Woman," which theme centered around the Women's Liberation Movement. The grand prize landed her a trip to Washington, DC to tour the Capitol.Shortly after that win, upon the request of several members of Congress, she recited some of her original poetry on the stage of the world-famous Apollo Theater (NYC). Betty is a prolific writer and a notable author of several published works. She is currently working on the launch of her stageplay C.R.O.C., which has the backing of 2x Tony Award winner and Grammy nominated Mr. Reg E. Gaines (Bring in da Noise, Bring in da Funk). Also, her much anticipated book Growing Decisions is in the process of being adapted into a movie.
