I’ve been burned, and I’ve done the burning in the past when it comes to communication. It’s the hardest, yet most important thing we can do as humans. Fortunately, the role of sales forces me to understand the nuances of it sooner rather than later - working with a small team in startups, has also done that for me. A beautiful, beloved partner has definitely done that for me. This week I reflect on 3 elements of communication that can kill the message, or drive the point home.
