For centuries since the Protestant Reformation in the early 16th century, the debate about the condition and place of the human will following Adam and Eve’s fall from Eden, has been a giant hot potato! From the first tensions of Pelagius and St. Augustine back in the fifth century to the debates of the Remonstrance at Dort in the 17th century, to the present-day ongoing discussion between Arminian Wesleyans and Methodist, and reformed Presbyterians and Baptists; the debate has raged on. This week Pete and the Curious team will attempt to dip their toes into these ancient murky waters to debate and discover what the Bible says from both sides of the argument.
