Listen Later

In this week's episode, the guys start off by discussing the recent announcement that Kim Han-Sol, nephew of North Korean leader, Kim Jong-Il is currently in the protective custody of the CIA.

Following this, Damon shares his exploration of US army and intelligence projects geared towards manufacturing dissent in foreign states (13:49), the Twitter clone built by USAID in an attempt to destabilize Cuba in 2014 (19:57), and the guys discuss the feasibility of indoctrination through nefarious means compared to attempts to simply tap into pre-existing dissident ideas (26:13).

After this, Hayden provides a run-down of the United States backed coup over lithium resources in Bolivia which saw the socialist president Evo Morales ousted (35:38), the guys discuss this as a demonstration of mainstream media's requirement to protect neoliberal corporate interests (49:25), and the relatively low cost of buying influence from corrupt public servants (54:55).

To finish off, ideas such as moral relativism, the forms that moral and immoral acts take when scaled, and more (1:05:50).
