Due to the special circumstances in which she would need to give up her royal title in order to marry according to the Japanese law and tradition, this has made somewhat of a big news headline worldwide. We took this opportunity to discuss how the Japanese people think about it, looked into the brief background of the Japanese royal family, and also compared the situation the UK also had with the Harry x Meghan marriage.
