EP26: Creating Your Narrative Story
On Episode 26 of BPerryFilms Podcast, I speak at the 3rd Annual Global Healing Motivational Summit hosted by Jennifer, MaryKim, and Romona. At this event which featured 40 Guest Speakers and Performing Artists, I had the opportunity to share my story with an audience streaming. I believe the best stories that are told by the person the story is about. They have lived through their own experience and can reflect on them years later from a different perspective.
My journey began at age 3 when I got introduced to the performing arts field. I went to many of the best Performing Arts Schools and joined many dance studios and programs over the years. My career pivoted after watching The Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater at the age of 8. After saving money from doing chores I spent the money buying equipment, music, and costumes to put on performances at home for family at my house. My uncle asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up and I remember saying I wanted to be a Choreographer in New York. He then said “How are you going to do that and you are an introvert” I challenged that statement and my career has proven that.
Over the years I’ve hit many highs and lows whether it was with performing arts, education, or employment for traditional 9 to 5 jobs. All those different experiences have led me to where I am proud to say I am the CEO of BPerryFilms & Artistic Creator of The Artistic Creator Academy™
My challenge to you is to share what is something that you are working on that sometimes you have self-doubt about.
