On Episode 28 of BPerryFilms Podcast I share a discussion on the importance of finding educational resources. When it comes to education you want to make sure you are talking to experts in their field. In the world we live in there are many scammers out there who are trying to capitalize on you not being knowledgeable about a particular topic. When it comes to free content there are many hosting platforms such as YouTube, Google, and TikTok. With them being free it is hard to say how much information they are leaving out and others just repurposing other people’s content without credentials. 

When it comes to paid content there is something of value that is expected. This person has spent hours crafting their expertise into a digital or physical product to help someone in need. Course creation is complex but to find a high quality product for your needs is to understand what your goal is at the end of the day. 

Deciding between free versus paid is all in what type of question you have on the topic. There are good questions that are descriptive and there are bad questions that are open ended and do not quite give full context as to what you are looking for. Also, keep in mind how long you want the course to be whether it be self-paced or cohort-based.  Take the time and do your diligence before subscribing to any course.
