Like all of dermatology, vasculitis and purpuric rashes are a complicated topic that can be difficult to know where to start with.  We simplify both vasculitis and vasculopathies in a 5-episode series, this time with the corny gameshow “Name That Vasculitis”, hosted by the even cornier Dr. Jerry Titus-Vasculitis.  Who?!?!  This episode covers the definitions of vasculitis and vasculopathy, types of purpura, the overall differential diagnosis for vasculitis based on vessel size, and discusses the small vessel vasculitides (cutaneous small vessel vasculitis, Henoch-Schonlein purpura, and urticarial vasculitis), along with starting the small and medium-vessel vasculitides by covering types 2 and 3 cryoglobulinemias.
