Chris Federspiel is a visionary entrepreneur and the Founder & CEO of Blackthorn.io, Inc. With a focus on app user experience and creating a rewarding work environment, Chris has led the company since its inception in August 2015. Blackthorn.io is dedicated to scaling and constantly seeking innovative ideas.


Prior to Blackthorn.io, Chris co-founded Brainiac, a marketplace connecting service providers such as accountants and lawyers to consumers through a map and review-based search. During his tenure from November 2014 to January 2016, he successfully built a native iOS app MVP and eventually sold the intellectual property.


Chris also gained valuable experience as an Account Executive at Silverline from April 2013 to June 2014. Although he was eventually fired, this turn led him to start his own business. His strong relationships with other Account Executives played a crucial role in his entrepreneurial journey, and he now maintains friendships with the individuals who fired him.


Furthermore, Chris served as a Co-Founder at Plative from June 2014 to January 2016. Initially known as CRM Passport, the company specialized in Salesforce services as a systems integrator. Under Chris's leadership and partnership with Naushad, Plative grew to a team 32 and achieved $3 million in revenue within the first 1.5 years.


Chris Federspiel pursued his education at The George Washington University.
