Joanna Dai, founder of Dai Wear, talks redefining work and workwear.
In this episode we talk redefining performance workwear - and the evolving nature of work - in a post-COVID world with banker turned entrepreneur Joanna Dai.
Joanna started Dai 4 years ago with a mission to build a digitally-native company, designing tailored performance workwear for women who mean business. As you’ll hear in this episode, she’s meeting that mission head on (and means a fair amount of business herself.)
In the last year alone, Dai became a certified B-Corp, was been named one of luxury brand sector official body Walpole’s Brands of Tomorrow, launched two major new product ranges inspired by customer feedback, and opened up a new retail space in the heart of London’s King’s Road.
The brand was also one of the first to respond actively to the COVID-crisis, producing face masks and offering a buy one give one scheme on it’s iconic Power Move Trousers to donate to NHS staff.
