For those of you who know me, this is an extra special episode for me personally.
In Episode 3, I have the great fortune of sitting down with my Dad, Dinesh Dattani (the same man that can recall the dates of his stories impeccably but not know where the remote control is) to relive some fonds memories from his early years.
In part 1 of this two-part conversation, my Dad recalls some entertaining stories but also deep, thought-provoking insights into schooling in Jinja, growing up with his siblings, and taking the life-changing decision to move to London in 1962 to further his studies. He also recalls some heartfelt memories of his eldest brother, who everyone called 'bhai', as well as my grandfather.
