Hi all.

well we finally get mate installed, descover that vmware tools is not needed and fiddle round with the interface.

Note, due to issues which we will review on the next cast to be posted immediately after this, it looks we have a working desktop environment for me to do something with.

I plan to switch either to debian command and maybe mint mate though not sure but I want to move to something easier like windows vms next.

Anchor has all the places you can listen to casts on, the group on groups.io and wordpress blogs are where you want them.
