Known as "Hell's Belle," she is believed to have killed at least 14 people, mainly men she lured to her Indiana farm through personal ads. Speculation suggests she may have been responsible for up to 40 murders. In 1908, a fire supposedly claimed her life, but many believe she faked her death, leaving her true fate unknown.
