Today we sit down with Kyle Allen to learn more about his organisation, HEARTNET. 

HEARTNET stands for Health Empowerment And Response Team Networks and this month, September 2021, they are celebrating their 1 year anniversary. They offer innovative programmes in arts, sports, education, empowerment and psycho-social support to youth and communities, predominantly around Pietermaritzburg in KwaZulu-Natal.One of their most exciting innovative programmes which we speak about in the interview are "GAP", "MAN" and "Winning In Your Zone", using a specially modified form of non-contact gender-inclusive football which teaches about Covid-19 protocols, gender equality and inclusiveness, and encourages health-seeking behaviours.
