Even before the Snowden effect took over the world there were a number of artists that had something to comment about morality, rationale and implications of mass surveillance. In today’s episode of chART, we will go through a few examples in order to voice our own opinion about the matter, as well as revisit Jeremy Bentham’s idea of the panopticon, arguably the philosophical foundation of mass surveillance.
