On Episode 34 of the BPerryFilms Podcast I will be sharing a topic that is very purposeful to me. The key element that I will be mentioning is "Accountability" This is a word that can be triggering to many people because it has a high level of commitment and responsibility when it comes to achieving the goal. Let me tell you I have the term to a high level because I always perform at my highest level.
I have tried to apply this term when working with people for extended periods in which are referred to as Accountability Partners. Let me save you the long story and let me tell you it never works out. Its either they are not committed to the assignment, the process, and to the goal that is trying to be achieved at hand. I want to be able to have someone to rely on when times are hard or for someone to bounce ideas off of. I feel like a person with my type A personality needs to be surrounded by people who have similar interests and work ethic. Many people lack the urgency to deliver a particular goal.
This episode refers to the content shared in a prior episode on procrastination and how it is contagious. At the end of the day, you are only responsible for your dynamics and your performance when approaching a goal.
