JJ is an autoandrophilic detransitioner. She likes being muscular, has a penchant for male-male romance, and likes gaming with the guys. Her gender dysphoria started once she was exposured to trans men on Livejournal. After buying into the mainstream trans framework, she concluded that her desire to be a man meant she was probably trans and she transitioned as a result.

During transition, JJ found that the pressure of passing worsened her dysphoria. She detransitioned after having a psychotic break and going on anti-psychotic medication, which eliminated her propensity for daydreaming of being a man. She has become reconciled to being female and does not experience dysphoria anymore.
