John Meese is a serial entrepreneur, new author and the current dean of PlatformUniversity.com.  He has a wide range of experience with email and he's learned some interesting things along the way, including a few tricks that might help you with your email content.

There was an element of when I started creating content online of building an email, that's actually seeing subscribers. There was an element of fear that came with that. I'm like, Oh my gosh, what if I misstep? (06:32)

You've got to stay connected to the real people on the inside of that email list. And I've seen a lot of people who manage big email lists really forget that. (14:39)
