Travelling on from Messenger Flats, join the guys as they descend from the bearable heat at 6000ft down towards the valley floor and the unbearable heat at 2000ft. Passing snakes, quail, a mockingbird; they enjoy a pizza break and some ice cream at the Acton KOA before pressing on a few miles more to camp.
