As some of you may know, many comedians, including myself, have finally gotten to get back into doing stand up comedy live and in person now that the world is opening up again. I’ve been falling in love with the grind again and running the LA circuit for the first time has been a dream come true. As I continue to pursue my dreams and desires to be a true professional in the felid, I am remembering how incredible the stand up community and overall scene really is. The people you get to meet and make bonds with when you perform comedy at 3 am in front of 4 drunk people is like nothing you could ever experience. It sucks, yet it’s the most fun and addicting experience you could ever imagine. The camaraderie is one of the parts I enjoy the most about doing stand up. The presence of life you experience while on the circuit makes every bomb and successful show worth the effort. One of the great people I’ve gotten to meet recently is the always hilarious @jjtysoncomedy who incorporates an ELECTRIC VIOLIN into his stand up sets. Ya what could get better than that? In all seriousness, JJ is a true student of comedy and has some of the coolest experiences and perspectives on the comedy world and life in general that made him one of the most effortless and fun guest on the show thus far. Also another person who I’ve already loved and grown closer to from stand up is the boy @mannbilly who I appreciate immensely for blessing us with his presence during the live stream.
