We just get God all wrong. We love the wrathful, angry God that leaves smoldering craters and  carnage of anyone we think is not worthy of Jesus. We feed on fear, and live in constant fear of being outside of God's will. We build these illusions off of a fleshly idea of God, without knowing Him. In so doing, we turn nearly ever verse in the bible into darkness instead of the joy, glory and light of the the living God. Seek his face. Listen to the wisdom of wholly spirit. Dig into the word.
