Books That Shape Us

Ep4 A Tale of Two Cities with Karen

Listen Later

In this episode I chat with my friend Karen about A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens. We discuss childhood reading nooks, how sometimes we get completely lost (confused-lost) when reading flowery worded classics, and the correct pronounciation of a chaise longue (the really long chair that is not a couch). P.S. I don’t think I ever get it right. :)  Join us!

In my opinion no discussion of A Tale of Two Cities is complete without referencing the episode of Cheers where Frasier Crane tries to read the classic to the people in the bar. After we recorded the episode I found the clip on YouTube. Check it out here. Enjoy!
