Sniper: Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 Playstation 5 Version Release Date Delayed

Sniper: Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 is shaping up to be one of the series' biggest entries to date, featuring new maps, weapons, and targets. Unfortunately, it seems PlayStation 5 users keen to jump into the next generation of long-range warfare will have to wait a little longer than expected, with CI Games announcing that it has decided to delay the port.

To clarify, the decision has no impact on the PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X versions of the game, all of which will still release as intended on June 4.

New Study Compares SSD and HDD Failure Rates

The report comes from Backblaze, a cloud backup provider well known for releasing reliability reports.

The report looks at 1,518 SSDs and 1,669 HDDs that all operate in the same environment, making them perfect for such a test. The report is quarterly, so it covers from the start of this year to March 31. In that time only two SSDs failed, which leads to an annualized failure rate of 0.58%, which is pretty impressive. On the other hand, 44 HDDs failed in that time period, giving Backblaze a much higher annualized failure rate of 10.56%. With both the Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 including SSD memories, the results are pretty comforting for gamers no matter their platform of preference.
