If you're trying to stay on track with a health routine, the weekends (or any time you're off your mundane routine) can harbor feelings of excitement due to less structure and more relaxation, while possibly also making you feel stressed trying to do "your best".

Maybe you lack the mental and physical energy to invest towards them or you just don't know how to make better choices amongst more social events and a changing schedule. While it's great to have more freedom the "weekend mode mentality" of "just let loose" and "diet starts Monday" can be detrimental to your goals.
