Loneliness is often described as painful, dark, isolating, heavy, scary, dominating, and never-ending. It is never described as something joyful, peaceful, pleasant, or exciting. Loneliness can impact all of us at different periods of our life for a variety of reasons, including death/loss, break-ups, social anxiety, COVID isolation, poor self-esteem, limited physical ability, fear, pain, and much more. While loneliness is a normal human experience, no one should have to suffer alone or remain in that space for the long-term. Join us as we discuss what loneliness is, how it can feel and show up in our lives, and tangible ways to move through it.
Join us as we wade through the waters of loneliness and offer some guidance to help move through it effectively. Loneliness is not the same as alone time. Alone time is an active choice and fills us up; whereas loneliness is not a choice and feels deeply painful rather than restorative. Loneliness can be incredibly challenging to overcome, but there are lots of tools to help. We can’t wait to share them with you and bring the relief that you or your loved ones deserve.
