Whether you are a man or woman in the prime of your life, whether you have been suffering for years or if you're a relatively new sufferer – pain in the pelvic area can often be confusing, embarrassing and isolating. How will you take care of your pelvic muscles so it won’t significantly affect how you feel through the course of your life?

 

This week’s Empower Your Pelvis Podcast, Dr. Amanda Fisher will be joined again by our guest, Tiffany. They will talk about how Tifanni dealt with her pelvic health issue, and how she will use her story to help more women by connecting with them and talk about the best treatment for a woman's pelvic health while being able to continue with their lives as a mother, wife and woman just like any other women out there. 

 

They will touch on such topics as:    

  • The patient-care that Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy provides to the patients.
  • If you are newly postpartum or in your pregnancy, you have to pay attention to your pain, pressure, leakage and bleeding. 
  • You don’t have to become a superwoman after giving birth to your child. 
  • You deserve to take care of yourself and not be dealing with pelvic pain on an everyday basis. You deserve to get the treatment that you need because it interferes with your life on a daily basis.
  • If you're not getting the help that you need, then you're not able to be the wife, the daughter, the friend, the mother, the spouse that you could be because you're just constantly miserable or in pain or hurting and not able to do the things you wanna do because  you're not feeling good about yourself.
  • You don’t need to feel embarrassed with pelvic floor symptoms, you cannot control those body functions. All you have to do is find help with your Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy. 
  • It's so nice to have just some time to just focus on yourself and to know that you are investing in your health and your wellbeing so that you can better care for your kid.
