This episode was recorded the day after we finally completed the sale of our marital home, 28 months after we separated and 20 months since we listed the home for sale. I also turned 49 years old.
We are all finally living in new abodes and starting new lives apart.
It’s been hell. I feel like I’ve fallen down a hill and caught myself as I watch my own children have to grow up faster than I intended, and start to lose their innocence.
In this episode, I’m going to talk about all the torment I’ve gone through and see if it can lead to a better outcome - a better staging ground for new and better things in life.
I’m going to also talk about the ongoing quest for truth and reconciliation, which Nelson Mandela pioneered in the 90s in South Africa, as well as what I learned from being a volunteer in Israel in 2005 before I moved to the UK - and everything that followed.
In the show notes below the episode I will be putting pictures and videos that offer a deeper dive beyond the audio you are about to hear.
