This morning Jo introduced us to Luke's Gospel with Luke 1:1-4 and gave a bit of background on the gospel writer.

Jo also shared a Bible thought on Matthew 10 and thanked God for the encouragements in the passage.

V8 - Freely you have received; freely give (We are accepted, loved and forgiven and saved by grace)

V10 - the worker is worth his keep (He will give us all that we need for our journey)

V14 - shake the dust off your feet (We can move on and trust Him when people mistreat us)

V19 - do not worry about what to say or how to say it (God will give us the wisdom we need for every situation)

V31 - you are worth more than many sparrows.(We are all so precious and known, no one is forgotten)

Prayers for Ukraine

• Pray for the peace talks to keep going and to lead to a ceasefire and an end to this conflict

• Pray for the refugees to receive the help and the support that they need

• Pray for revival in Ukraine
