Before researching for this interview I had never heard of the term chronotype. It simply refers to our individualized biological clock or circadian rhythm, the mechanism that controls when we naturally want to do things like go to sleep, eat or have sex.
A huge key to living a more energized life is being able to go with the flow of our body’s natural internal clock and my guest in this episode of TheEdTalks is an expert on the subject. Dr. Michael Breus is an actively practicing psychologist, sleep specialist and author of the book "The Power of When”. It was a result of struggling to help one of his patients with regular methods that led Dr. Breus to research and utilise the power and simplicity of chronotypes to drastically improve her life and that of those around her.
This is a powerfully informative talk, as discovering what your chronotype is and how you can make slight adjustments in your life to better suite your particular rhythm, can lead to improved health, relationships, sex and lots more that inevitably will make you feel a whole lot more energized.
